HAPPY FATHERS DAY WELCOME TO OUR GUEST MUSICIAN Sarah Amos who is from Grand Blanc and studying at the University of Missouri for a Masters in Musicology! She is a guest artist at Bay View Association. NOISY OFFERING this month will be going into a fund to purchase items needed for our people of mission in our neighborhood project. ALTAR FLOWERS this morning are placed by Josh Yingling in loving memory of his father, Bill Yingling. BULLETINS today are given by Gordy and Lynn Engdahl in celebrations of their granddaughter ZuZu’s birthday. God’s blessings. Dedications for both the bulletins and the flowers are found at SIGN UP CENTRAL in the green notebook. $10 for flowers and $10 for bulletin dedications. Each week our flowers are donated to Flowers for Friends to be distributed throughout the community. MARK THE CALENDAR: When using the church building for meetings etc. please mark the day and time on the calendar, on the bulletin board by the women’s bathroom, so a reminder can be put in the announcements. CHURCH TRIVIA: Did you know that Irene Feeley and her Girl Scout Troop put up a giving tree in the back of the church near the trail. There are gifts to be given that are donated by you and others…mittens, scarves and hats are the main gifts. We try and keep them filled here…Home Depot helped them build what the girls had planned. Their troop is very active and are blessings to us here! Thank you for joining and supporting the ministry for those in need…even if it is in the moment. NOISY OFFERING IN JUNE: “Random Acts of Kindness Ministry” We are collecting money to help purchase brushes, rakes, and maybe other items that will be needed along the way…and God’s work our hands t-shirts. We are going to be doing church this summer as people of mission in our neighborhoods…do you know someone who needs some help with their home…maybe fixing the garden or painting the siding or fixing a door? A neighbor is sick or ended up with a broken leg? We are here! We are going to be church in our neighborhoods. We can help you build your deck or grab rocks and move them. Ask your neighbors and we will set up a date and a meeting place and a time. Requests will be determined on a case by case basis…we soon will have a very big project in helping to clear the lot after the parsonage is burned….let’s be church in the community in a new a fun and uplifting way! There is a sign up page for projects that you bring to us…it could be your own project or a neighbor’s! Many hands make light work and some folks just need an extra hand!! ART EXHIBIT IN HARBOR SPRINGS: THE LIFE OF OUR LORD - Pierre has been asking God in his prayers to use him for spreading the word. God has answered his prayers. His paintings are displayed in sequence from the Annunciation to the Ascension to Heaven at his gallery at 188 East Main Street, Harbor Springs. If you get a chance go and see his paintings.
